If I need other care that is not available in Highmark’s network after June 30, 2019, am I able to go to an out-of-network physician or facility on an in-network basis?

Services not available in-network will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If clinically appropriate care can be accessed through a network physician that is out of your area, Highmark will work with you to coordinate your care. If this is not clinically appropriate, Highmark will arrange care at an out-of-network provider for you. You should always contact Highmark for assistance prior to obtaining out-of-network care in order to maximize your plan’s benefits.
