When You Need Help, You Can Count on Blue

Eric

Eric had back surgery, which took him off his feet for several months. To make matters worse, he developed a massive blood clot in his leg that required him to go back to the hospital. His first night back in the hospital, Eric got a visit from his Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield case manager. She asked him about the care he was getting, the types of medications and the physical therapy he would need. Eric was expecting bad news about his coverage but his case manager said that she just wanted to check to make sure that everything was okay. It wasn't just about the insurance, she really cared about Eric's recovery.

"She promised me she would get right back to me, which she did in minutes."   

Eric's case manager called him back quickly and let him know that his insurance would take care of everything.  

"So there were no limits on my physical therapy, nor did I have to pay a copayment each time I went there." -Eric   

He was able to get all the help he needed. As a small business owner, Eric has a lot to worry about. Fortunately, insurance isn't one of them.
